The Fountains of Bellagio
Located just outside the Bellagio hotel, The Fountains of Bellagio offers the most ambitious and complex choreographed water display to ever grace Las Vegas. An 8.5 acre lake with 1,214 fountains shoots water as high as 460 feet in the air in a dance that is perfectly choreographed to famous tune by artists such as Frank Sinatra or Celine Dion. Not only is this a beautiful and inspirational feat of technology, it is free as well. Visitors can see shows every half-hour between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and then every 15 minutes until midnight.
Caesars Palace
It would not be Vegas if you did not place a bet in the oldest, and possibly most famous, Vegas casino. However, Caesar’s palace has much more to offer than gambling. Those looking to spend an afternoon shopping can check out the famous Forum Shops and explore several world-class retailers. You can also head over to the Colosseum and see a performance such starts as Elton John, Celine Dion, Jerry Seinfeld and more. Las Vegas Springs Preserve
Visitors looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the strip for an afternoon are likely to enjoy the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. This 180-acre nature preserve has many galleries, museums, and outdoor concerts. There are also many colorful botanical gardens and an extensive trail system that leads you through a scenic wetland habitat. Located 3 miles outside of downtown Las Vegas, the preserve is one of the richest cultural resources in Southern Nevada.
The Stratosphere

The famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is a must see for visitors looking for a rare souvenir, or who simply want to make a few extra bucks for the black jack tables. While the shop has been around for some time now, having its own reality TV show has definitely increased its popularity. The Atomic Testing Museum
This museum tells the story of how nuclear power came to represent the future in the United States. Visitors can sit in a motion simulator to get an idea of what it would have been like to sit in on one of the hundreds of nuclear tests carried out in the Nevada desert between 1951 and 1992.
